It is hard to believe that the William Hunter’s Library project is now well past its half way point!
Our Project Assistants have completed the first draft of our transcription of Museum Records 3 (that is, the catalogue of Hunter’s books that his Trustees compiled after his death) and we are proofreading the spreadsheet that we have used to collect the data.
Meanwhile, the contents of Hunter’s library continue to provide many interesting insights about his life and medical practice.
The latest update – on the books listed under ‘I’ and ‘J’ can be found at https://universityofglasgowlibrary.wordpress.com/2017/07/24/william-hunters-library-the-is-and-the-js/
